Ask a Question

The first year was the passing point. Oh, who made a "dramatic" change, said, "I understand 70 to 80 percent of Korean volleyball, and I'll show you the second year that's evolved."

"In the second year, we need to show a more evolved version of volleyball." Last season, OK Financial Group's massage coach Okino was appointed, and he clearly improved his physical strength. He ordered a volleyball system with fewer errors, giving the team a new "color." OK Financial Group posted 929 errors in 36 games during the 2022-2023 season. It averaged 25.8 per game but topped the list of offenses last season with 654, or 18.1 per game. The number of serve offenses also drastically decreased from 16.55 to 9.58 per game. The number of serve runs per set decreased from 1.471 to 0.784 per set, but the number of blockings increased from 2.074 to 2.309 per set and the Diggs increased from 7.787 to 9.209 per set. Based on this, Ogino won the cup in his first year in office, won the first spring volleyball tournament in three years, and advanced to the championship game in eight years. Although he was completely defeated by Korean Air in the championship game, Ogino and OK Financial Group's volleyball deserved applause. "I have reached my goal level for the first year. I want to build another team in the second year. I feel like giving them a pass. The foundation seems to have been laid. Players have also changed their way of thinking about volleyball. I don't have any regrets but I think it was good overall," Ogiino told the Dong-A Ilbo at the OK Financial Group training center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. The "system volleyball" that Ogino is pursuing avoids the heavy dependence on foreign players, so-called "no smoking" volleyball. "I think winning or losing with a foreign player can be a tactic, but I thought it would be a little less fun," Ogino said. "We have talked about winning with the entire team and carrying out missions by position. All the players have spent the same training program and time. I think volleyball can be more fun if we don't rely on foreign players." "I think the most important thing is to play volleyball so that viewers can say they want to watch OK Financial Group's volleyball or have fun watching it. I want to show volleyball that never gives up on any game while fighting as a team until the end. I don't know how well it will be completed yet, but I need to show a team that has grown and evolved a little more. I will prepare for the goal of increasing the number of players (to be evaluated)," he said. In addition to volleyball, one of the things Ogino emphasizes is communication with players. It is in the same vein that he asked me to call him "Ogino-sang" rather than the coach. "I think I have good relations with (the players). There are times when I am strict in training, but I try to take my time normally. I communicate a lot with the players. They call me next to them and they seem to be relieved that (the players) are "looking after" them," he said. "I heard that becoming a coach is just a facade. I feel like we are making volleyball together. I try not to get angry and compliment them a lot during the game." Next season, the era of foreign coaches will begin in the men's division. In addition to Ogino, Tommy Tilikainen, Korean Air's coach, Miguel Rivera of KB Insurance, Philippe Blanc of Hyundai Capital, and Mauricio Paes have newly appointed directors. Five teams have foreign coaches except for KEPCO (Kwon Young-min) and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (Kim Sang-woo). "I'm looking forward to it. There are better leaders coming than me. I think we need to study how to make the V-League, and it would be great if we can steal good parts of the league," Ogiino said. "The V-League has a similar team balance in a good way. There is no team that can win 100 percent of the time. It may be confusing to the new coaches, but I still want to introduce them to an interesting league."

[www.totositeweb.top](http://www.totositeweb.top)

Cambodia, Thai Police Arrested Over Anti-Gambling Crackdown

Thailand and Cambodia have been the subject of major crackdowns on anti-gambling activities in recent weeks, with police arrested in both areas. More than 550 illegal immigrants have been detained in Cambodia and 40 have been arrested in Thailand. The arrests are the result of a multi-agency operation and have been linked to raids on illegal Filipino offshore game operations. Thailand's crackdown In Thailand, over 40 suspects were detained for allegedly being involved in illegal gambling operations. The services turned over about 2 million baht per day. The group was operating three online casino game sites that had been in operation for three years. Over 50,000 gamblers accessed the sites. The Crime Stoppers were part of the raid, which seized more than 460 million baht of assets and cash during the raid. A total of 52 locations were attacked in 10 different provinces. Presumably, the operations were connected to the main network located in Kon Kaen. Websites provided by illegal operators gave players access to various types of gambling. Anyone who used the service had to transfer funds to the organization's bank accounts, which were linked to gambling sites. After the money was transferred, it was withdrawn and transferred to another account, trying to hide traces of the money. Items seized in the Thai airstrike included cash, bank accounts, ATM cards and mobile phones. A lot more people have been arrested in Cambodia Police have arrested more than 550 people in Cambodia, while around 40 people have been arrested in Thailand. Cambodia's prime minister has called for a crackdown on illegal gambling operations, especially after casino-related kidnappings and an increase in human trafficking were seen. Prime Minister Hun Sen has vowed to do all he can to stop illegal gambling and ensure that participants are brought to justice. While the action is applauded, it may have been too late for any good to be done. For years, Cambodia has been hit by illegal gambling activities to the extent that other countries, such as the U.S., do not want to be bound by the region's gambling industry. Most of the people arrested were Chinese nationals. There were small groups in Vietnam and Malaysia. Those arrested occurred in Phnom Penh, Candal, as well as in Sihanoukville. Of the 414 people arrested on Sunday, over 160 were working without proper paperwork and permission. It will be interesting to see whether further action will be taken in the future to ensure the continued eradication of illegal gambling practices in these parts of Asia.
<https://www.badugisite.net/>

Osaka IR Land Lease – Decide Higher Pricing

Ishiro Matsui, the mayor of Osaka, recently held a regular press conference. At the time, he announced that at least three of the four companies he wanted to be included in the real estate appraisal had agreed on the rental price of the site to be tendered by Osaka IR. Press Release: The Osaka Port Authority said it had already been interviewed by the media on Dec. 15 and had not guided contractors to agree on a price. In the past, there has been no positive business performance, so companies have formed an opinion on the site. It is stated as a "large commercial facility complex," three of which agreed that 428 yen would be required, with a rent of US$3.15 per square meter. The value of the light industrial district where the real estate is placed is half of the price they agreed to. The real estate rental plan includes 49 hectares of Yumeshima. The rental plan is currently designed for the next 35 years and will have an annual rent of 2.5 billion yen, or $18.4 million. In a press conference, Matsui said, "The land was not for sale in the first place. The sale price was only calculated on the basis of determining the rent. You cannot determine the rent without knowing the value of the land. The IR operator asked that the IR plot be leased and not sold. They said they wanted the initial investment to be a building, not a land." Compared to USJ: There were questions about the price increase, saying that it was not much lower than Universal Studios Japan had to bear. The market said, "When USJ first took the mound, the price was cheap, and it rose with the growth of USJ. Yumeshima's land will not be sold and will be leased. We believe that prices will rise along with the market in the next 10 or 20 years. First of all, it will make the land attractive. Same as the USJ. Land value will increase as the location becomes a central rallying point. However, the initial base must be assessed by the Appraisal Board. This is still a location that is not affected by the market." The Major said the decision was not directed by the government and was not personal. If there is any kind of problem with this matter, the Major will be held accountable and waive all of the annual compensation. He added that he will also punish those responsible for all violations. The IR development plan, created by Osaka Prefecture, was submitted to the central government last April. The plan was decided with the help of MGM Resorts and ORIX, and is currently awaiting approval from the government. According to the plan, the property will be opened in the fall or winter of 2029. <https://www.badugisite.net/>
Casino admission fees in Singapore are breaking records

Singaporeans have outperformed themselves on the amount spent on various gambling platforms and games. Singapore broke records by spending S$9.2 billion, or $6.8 billion. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, the industry's popularity increased by 43% year over year. In addition, the S$125 million, or $92 million in U.S. currency, entry-level casino collection was the highest in the past four years. Singapore rising from the ashes: Singapore's Tote Board disclosed information related to the increase. During fiscal year 2021, around $6.6 billion (US$4.9 billion) was spent on lottery tickets and sports betting. Of course, the gambling industry has been affected by the global pandemic of COVID-19 and several casinos have closed, but the final tally still breaks records. This is a 14% increase over fiscal year 2019, when growth was S$8.1 billion (US$6 billion) Totboard collected S$125 million ($84 million) in fiscal 2022, more than its 2021 collection, which was S$114 million. It also matched its previous collection, as the 2019 collection was about S$114 million ($91.5 million). The only year in which more money was collected recently was 2018, when Singapore dollars (US$97 million) were collected. Also, we need to mention 2012 when Singapore first raised S$193 million ($142 million). Since then, Singaporean money has started to fall, but it seems that they finally got away with the crisis. Singapore's main casinos, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, have closed several times this year due to COVID-19, but players have apparently not stopped to enjoy gambling. Casinos were also forced to enforce capacity restrictions in 2021, but things are starting to change. Singapore's former casino regulator has decided to raise entry levels to 50% following expansion deals with Las Vegas Sands and Genting Singapore. This has prompted many local citizens and residents to avoid visiting casinos. Expansion of horse racing: The growth has also been recorded in horse racing. Racers have spent an amount of S$818 million ($630 million) on it. Horse racing has not been that popular in Singapore over the past few years, but the gambling scene is changing. Evidence of that is the fact that the total bets in 2012 were S$1.7 billion ($1.25 billion) and S$1.1 billion in 2019. The biggest drop was recorded in 2021 when the total bet amount was S$496 million ($366 million).
<https://www.casinositehot.com/>
Duplantis sets another world record in pole vault...6m24

![](https://files.readme.io/cb30051-image.png)
Sweden's Armond Duplantis has broken the men's pole vault world record yet again. Duplantis cleared 6.24 meters (24 feet) in the men's pole vault at the World Athletics Federation Xiamen Diamond League 2024 in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China, today (20 September). The world record is one centimeter better than the 6m 23 he set at the 2023 Diamond League Finals in Eugene, Oregon, USA, on September 18 last year. On this day, Duplantis changed the world record in just four jumps. After clearing 5m62 and 5m82 in the first round to secure the win, Duplantis also cleared 6m00 on his first attempt. She then raised the bar to 6.24 meters, clearing it on her first attempt. With the world record in his first outdoor competition of the year, Duplantis became the first athlete to hold the world's top 1-5 outdoor mark and the world's top 1-5 indoor mark. Duplantis is considered the most popular track and field athlete since the retirement of "sprinting emperor" Usain Bolt. Duplantis was born to American pole vaulter Greg Duplantis and Swedish mother Helena, who competed in track and field, heptathlon, and volleyball; Duplantis' older brother Andreas is also a pole vaulter. Although he was born in the United States, Duplantis adopted Swedish citizenship after his mother. Dubbed a "pole vault prodigy" for already clearing 3m86 at the age of seven, Duplantis was dubbed a "god" after winning the 2018 European Athletics Championships with a junior world record of 6m05. He emerged as a major player on the adult international scene in 2019, finishing second at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar, with a time of 5m97. Fast forward to 2020, and Duplantis has become the 'all-time number one'. On February 9, 2020, at the World Association of Athletics Federations Indoor Tour Meeting, Duplantis cleared 6m17, breaking the previous indoor world record of 6m14 set by France's Lavillenie in 2014, and on September 18, 2020, at the Diamond League in Rome, Italy, Duplantis set an outdoor world record of 6m15, beating the previous record of 6m14 set by Ukraine's Bupka in 1994 by 1cm. Since then, Duplantis has been on an "uncontested" record run. He won gold at the Tokyo Olympics and back-to-back world titles at the 2022 Eugene and Budapest World Championships. World Athletics considers Duplantis the clear favorite to win gold in all track and field events at this year's Paris Olympics. <https://www.totosafeguide.com>

Bought for '41.9 billion', PSG can't use him properly, confirms 'parting of ways'
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) spent €28.5 million to bring Hugo Ekitiqe to the club. However, Ekitiqe failed to establish himself at PSG and left for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan this season. Frankfurt have been impressed with Ekiti's attitude and are preparing to sign him outright. Ekitiqe is also positive about staying in Germany. European football transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano said: "Ekiti scored his first goal for Frankfurt last night. He will stay at Frankfurt on a free transfer. PSG will receive €20 million, including a loan fee and an option for a full transfer. Ekitiqe has reached an agreement with Frankfurt," the club said in a statement. Ekitiqe, who is from France, came to prominence at a young age. He made his senior debut for Stade de Reims in the 2020-21 season and broke through in the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 26 games, including cup competitions. PSG snapped him up. The transfer fee was a whopping €28.5 million. It was an expensive price to pay for a young talent who still needed to prove himself. Ekitiqe was highly anticipated. However, life at PSG wasn't easy, as their attacking line consisted of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi. Ekitić was often used as a substitute, but he still managed to score four goals and provide four assists in 32 games. Heading into the 2023-24 season, the departure of Neymar and Messi seemed to open the door for Ekitiqe. But things didn't go so easily. In addition to Lee Kang-In, PSG added Marco Asensio, Koulou Mouani, Ousmane Dembele, Gonzalo Hamus, Bradley Barcola, and others, further narrowing Ekitiqe's space. Eventually, Ekitiqe was put up for sale. Several teams were interested, but his final destination was Frankfurt in Germany. Since joining Frankfurt, Ekiti has slowly improved his form. He's still mostly a substitute, but he's been getting more and more starts. In his last game against Augsburg, he started and even scored his debut goal. As a result, Frankfurt decided to make an outright move for Ekiti. According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports in Germany, "Frankfurt have decided to trigger Ekiti's release clause. The amount is €16 million. Ekitiqe also wants to stay." <https://www.totopick.pro>

"I told you I've been a Man Utd fan since I was a kid, right?"

Eric, KT's dark horse big man, emerges as a force to be reckoned with in the post with Marei

![](https://files.readme.io/d53fb1d-image.png)
Michael Eric (211 cm, C) has emerged as KT's dark horse big man. Suwon KT defeated Changwon LG 73-76 in the third round of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association quarterfinals playoffs at the KT Sonic Boom Arena in Suwon on Tuesday. With the loss, KT fell to 1-2 in the best-of-seven series. KT was eager to continue the momentum from their Game 2 win at home. The team took a narrow lead early in the fourth quarter to set the tone, but a buzzer-beater by Yoon Won-sang (180 cm, G) just before the end of the fourth quarter resulted in a home loss. Despite the close loss, KT was encouraged by Eric's performance. Like in Games 1 and 2, KT utilized Eric in Game 3 to defend LG's post core, Asem Marey. Eric entered the game in place of Paris Bass (200 cm, F) with 2:32 left in the first quarter. Matched up against Maray, Eric was active on the boards, grabbing two defensive rebounds by boxing out. In the second quarter, Eric continued to split minutes with Bass. In his short time on the floor, Eric focused on rebounding in the post. Eric also showed his ability to utilize his teammates by playing two-on-two with Heo Hoon (180 cm, G) to get free throws in the paint. After a strong second quarter, Eric was given a full rest in the third quarter and was reintroduced at the start of the fourth quarter. With Eric back in the lineup, KT's offense gained momentum. Eric was able to score in the paint with a solid post-up against Maray's close defense. The score gave KT a 64-56 lead and set the tone. Eric scored six points and two rebounds in the fourth quarter alone, utilizing KT's height alongside Ha Yoon-ki. Eric recorded the game-winning basket with 1:03 left in the fourth quarter when he was replaced by Bass. On the day, Eric played 13 minutes and 56 seconds, finishing with seven points and five rebounds. While the numbers may seem mundane, what was impressive was how he utilized KT's height by twinning with Ha Yoon-ki (203 cm, C) in the post. Eric played the role of KT's second option during the season, rarely seeing more than 10 minutes of court time. However, he began to showcase his skills in the final stretch of the regular season as he gradually increased his minutes. Eric lived up to coach Song Young-jin's expectations in the best-of-seven playoffs against Hyundai Mobis, where he was evenly matched against Gage Prim (205 cm, C). Eric's confidence continued to grow in the quarterfinals playoffs, as he recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds in Game 1. In the post-match interview, KT head coach Song Young-jin expressed his confidence in Eric, saying, "I think the offense derived from (Asem) Marei was working well, so we made a decision to block that part effectively." Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Eric will be able to save KT from the brink. <https://www.sportstoto.link>

'I don't know if this is how I'm going to retire,' says former home run king Kim Ha Sung on job search struggles

![](https://files.readme.io/145a7ae-image.png)
Luke Voit, 33, a former teammate of Kim's (29, San Diego) and the American League's home run leader in 2020, is having trouble finding a job. I wonder if this will force him to retire. Voit was released from the New York Mets' Triple-A team late last month, just before the 2024 regular season. "The slugger, who signed a minor league contract with the Mets in February and was invited to major league spring training as an invitee, was released in hopes of returning to the big leagues," according to Traderumors, which broke the news at the time. "The release makes him a free agent once again, and he'll have to find a new team," the publication said, adding, "With the power still in his bat, a major league contract is unlikely, but a minor league deal is still possible." But nearly a month after his release, Voit has yet to find a team. The Montana native was drafted by St. Louis in the 22nd round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. As his draft position suggests, the then-collegiate player was not a high-profile prospect. However, Voit was a late bloomer once he turned pro, making his major league debut in 2017 after just four years. In his first year in the big leagues, he played in 62 games, batting .246 with four home runs and 18 RBIs. However, in 2018, his second year in the big leagues, he burst onto the scene, batting .322 with 15 home runs and 36 RBIs while splitting time between his original club, St. Louis, and the New York Yankees, who acquired him via trade. His home run total was particularly noteworthy because it came in just 47 games. Voit became the New York Yankees' starting first baseman in 2019, hitting .263 with 21 home runs and 62 RBIs in 118 games that year. A year later, in the 2020 season, which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Voit hit his stride, hitting 22 home runs in just 56 games and winning the American League home run title. The 2020 season was shortened by one-third, so Voit's 22 home runs were a big deal. However, a knee injury in 2021 put the brakes on his career. He returned after surgery, but a trade to San Diego awaited him. In 2022, he played a total of 82 games in a San Diego uniform, batting .225 with 13 home runs and 48 RBIs. But that wasn't all. After another midseason move to Washington, Voit hit just .228 with nine home runs and 21 RBIs. In 2023, he signed a minor league deal with Milwaukee, but was labeled "rotten to the core" when he made the Opening Day roster. But once the season began, Voit's bat cooled off quickly. After hitting just .221 with four RBIs in 22 games, he was released in mid-May and has never returned to the major leagues. <https://www.majortotosite.top>
